A selection of black and white photographs
Don’t tell anyone, but: I’ve not been taking many photos recently. Perhaps you knew that.
I even went to Yorkshire for a holiday, and visited beautiful places. Some of them had terrific geology to look at. But the phone barely left my back pocket, and I didn’t even bother to take one of the “proper” cameras.
(“One of the”. Huh.)
Sometimes the universe sends you a message, and sometimes you try one and send one to it. Sometimes those messages get through; but clear communication is hard. I know that from the day job.
This is the last monochrome, my final message. I’m not even sure what it says. It’s for you, though: it’s aimed right at you.
Something like: you’re good. You’re nice. You’re the right sort of people in the right sort of place. You look after others when they don’t know what they’re doing or what they’re saying; you take care of people when pandemics happen and the world is upended. I like you. I’m glad you’ve been there when this weird little newsletter appeared in your inbox. It was never really about photography, was it? Not much.
Until next time, and until the next piece of internet: goodbye, void.
